Project Type: Walnut Wood Floor Installation & Stairs London
These stairs were originally carpeted. When the carpet was removed they became very noisy. The original balusters and handrails were made of softwood. In order to lay walnut wood flooring on them they had to be first sound insulated from underneath. We then installed LED side wall runner lights to add a bit of ambience. The old stair baluster spindles and handrails were then replaced with glass and stainless steel. The finished effect is quite stunning.
